It’s Spooky Season

It’s Spooky Season

We’re now officially in October which means it’s officially Spooky Season! As our logo is our little Ghostie, you can imagine we’re right there with you and we encourage you to pick up one of our perlers in our store to have him hang out and ghost-up your festivities! (I actually realize I’ve just encouraged you to do a kind of an “Elf on the Shelf” deal with our perler Ghostie and I’m sorry about that. I’m definitely not one to add MORE shit for you to do…but think of the Instagram possibilities!)

We’ve been balls deep in new fragrances for Fall and Winter and are in the process of testing out some in various forms – candles, skincare and bath bombs. This beauty below is named “Pumpkin Party” and smells like pumpkin spice and cranberries. Covered in “Heart’s Desire” enviroglitter (a biodegradable glitter that does not clog your pipes or pollute the waterways) and perfect for sensitive skin as it doesn’t contain any chemicals, parabens or phthalates (just like all of our skincare items), this bomb is perfect for fall and we can’t wait to go live with it. Keep an eye out next week for when the listing goes live on our store!

Pumpkin Party anyone?

As far as events go, we’re coming to the end of the Smyrna Handmade Market for the year (last one is on October 17th so you still have 10/10 and 10/17 you can show up to!) and then we’ve got the first of our BIG KAHUNA events: The Smyrna Fall Jonquin Festival. With over 20,000 attendees, 125 vendors, activities for the kids and FREE admission, this one’s a no brainer if you’re looking for something to do the weekend of 10/23 and 10/24. We hope to see you there!

And now, for this week’s playlist. I was feeling in a decidedly 80s mood when I curated this list this weekend and if you’re an 80s kid like me, you’ll instantly be transported back to your childhood, where this stuff played in the background of whatever you were doing (pogo sticking, playing on your original Nintendo system, wearing some god awful neon combo). Have yourselves a good week. – Laura
